Videogames night
Oh, my glittering stars, what a season it has been! We’ve just wrapped up the final dazzling chapter of our Fridays on Front 2024 Summer season, and if last Friday's Videogames Night was any indication, we certainly went out with a pixel-perfect bang!
On August 23rd, from 5 pm to 9 pm, Front Street Mews was transformed into an epic arcade of excitement and glam. Our Videogames Night was nothing short of a spectacular game level, with DJ Jewel Maiden spinning tracks that had everyone dancing like they were in a high-score challenge! The Troopas took the stage next, delivering a performance so electrifying it could've powered up an entire city!
But hold onto your sequins, because the highlight of our night was the fabulous Cosplay Showcase, where our attendees brought their A-game in creativity and flair. From legendary heroes to mystical creatures, it was a visual feast that left us all in awe!
And let’s talk about the menu! We had the most mouthwatering food trucks serving up delights from Little Ooties, Old Country Pierogi, Yo-Bones BBQ, The Taco Tigre, The Jerkshack, and Crema Ice Cream. And the gelato from Tre Galli Gelato Caffe was to die for! Pair with refreshing beer and seltzer by Steel+Oak and exquisite wine from Moodswings Coffee+Bar, and you’ve got a recipe for perfection. With so many delightful local products, our vendors made sure everyone had a fabulous and fun shopping experience! A special shoutout to Gamedeals Video Games, Churi Gift Boutique, West Coast Science Fiction Association, and Bonus Stage.
Reflecting on this season, we’ve had an absolute blast! From our grand opening with the vibrant Bollywood Bash to the nostalgic Retro 80s and 90s Rewind, the eco-friendly Carfree Takeover, the spicy Fiesta Latina, and the breathtaking New West Pride—each Friday was a unique journey filled with joy, laughter, and community spirit.
