NEW WEST PRIDE
The evening kicked off with a bang, thanks to the stunning stilt walkers from Vancouver Circus School. This high-flying beauty strutted her stuff above the crowd, adding a touch of whimsy and wonder to our already fabulous event. she had us all craning our necks and gasping in awe!
Then our sensational drag performers took the stage, and honey, did they deliver. Skim set the tone with storytelling so fabulous it had both kids and adults hanging on every word. His performance was a showstopper that left us all breathless. Next up, Kara Juku, the Asian Barbie with more pizzazz than a sequined disco ball, enchanted us with every move and her bubbly, over-the-top personality.
To finish out the night Silent Saint J, sang us some sweet, sweet lullabies. Each brought their own brand of magic, making it a night of enchantment that was simply unforgettable.
But wait, there was more! The local vendors were out in full force, and honey, they did not disappoint. From the sweet delights of Tre Galli Gelato, which provided a refreshing escape from the summer heat, to the savory satisfaction of Burgerholic, every bite was a celebration of flavor. Shameless Buns brought the sass with their savory menu, and Taste of Malaysia whisked us away on a culinary adventure across the continent.
And let’s not forget about the drinks! We couldn’t get enough of Steel + Oak’s refreshing craft beer and seltzer. And the exquisite wine from Moodswings Cafe + Bar? Honey, they made sure our glasses were never empty. Cheers to that!
For those seeking a bit of relaxation, Vita Felice Spa was there to offer some much-needed pampering, making sure everyone had a moment to unwind and enjoy the serenity amidst the festivities.
The air was filled with laughter, music, and the kind of energy that makes you feel alive. The joy of celebrating Pride in such an inclusive, joyous setting was palpable, and it was clear that everyone was there to share the love and unity that this event was made for.
