Reliving the Magic of the 80s & 90s: Fridays on Front 2024

Last Friday, July 19th, 2024, Front Street Mews was transported back in time to the good old days of the 80s and 90s with another Fridays on Front. Our Retro 80s & 90s Rewind theme, a nostalgic and fun event that gathered over 2000 enthusiastic people in downtown New Westminster, featuring rad performances by the Big Bone Brass Band and cool beats of DJ Ice B, who kept the energy high throughout the night.

With a variety of delicious treats from 6 food trucks, attendees savored everything from decadent burgers and subs from Wakwak Burger and Camion Cafe to delicious tacos and Tex- Mex fusion delights from Dos Amigos. For dessert, Crema Ice Cream and The Praguery provided refreshing ice creams. There was a little bit of everything to satisfy all palates. A special selection of wines from Moodswing Bar and craft beers from Steel + Oak perfectly complemented the warm summer evening, giving a special splash to the festive spirit.

Throughout the event, laughter and chatter filled the air as friends and families gathered to enjoy an evening of great music, local shopping and amazing food. The vibrant sunset by the Fraser River along Front Street Mews provided the perfect backdrop. We thank everyone who joined us at the event to celebrate nostalgia and culture and we hope you left this Fridays on Front with magical memories of the best of the 80s and 90s.
